Saint-Gobain.

An intense and fascinating year, in which I combined this full time traineeship with a part time Master of Education. I wrote my thesis for Saint-Gobain, focused on optimising the Gyproc training sessions taught at technical secondary schools. Alongside my thesis I worked on a wide range of internal projects. I created digital 3D drawings of wall and floor systems to make technical product concepts easy to understand, and I supported product management by helping decide which new products to launch and why, including interviews with the target audience to determine what to introduce and what not. For the launch of a new lightweight board I conducted market research to map what the market was doing and whether there was real demand. On the creative side, I designed posters for Gyproc and Isover and contributed to the brochures professionals use to select the right boards. Using Vectorworks, I created 3D designs that brought products to life visually. A perfect mix of product, research and design.
